Classes are for adults and take place in the Jubilee Hall, New Park Centre, Chichester PO19 7XY

We start by getting to know each other with drama games and warm-ups.

Each week will look at a specific theatre skill, vocal, physical, improvisation, or a specific text or playwright.

We look at how to bring text alive on stage and, working in small groups and also as a whole ensemble, create our own exciting, imaginative pieces of drama.

We experiment with a variety of theatre styles and plays, lots of comedy, lots of tragedy, from Greek theatre to commedia dell’arte, from Shakespeare to Wilde, from Pinter to Tennessee Williams, from Caryl Churchill to Emma Rice.

You don’t need any previous experience, just a sense of fun and a willingness to have a go.

No special clothing required, just clothes in which you feel comfortable moving about.
